Lategan Safaris home base is situated in the Eastern Cape, on the banks of the Orange River. This spectacular river forms the border between the Eastern Cape and the Freestate. This is a Malaria Free area, which is rich in game.   Clients are housed in comfortable South African Ranch Homes & Game Lodges whilst on Safari in our concession areas. Accommodation at all camps are fully catered and our staff will ensure your comfort and total safety at all times. Health Precautions A first aid kit is available on every hunt in the veldt, vehicle and camp. Bennie Lategan is a qualified Pharmacist, and will do everything possible in any medical event. More sophisticated medical facilities are available within a 50 mile radius.   Weather & Clothing Weather conditions can change rapidly in our area. Make sure you bring warm clothes, gloves, wind- proof jacket & warm sweater from April to August.
